PANICKED ISIS terrorists throw their hands up in terror after being corner by SAS-backed Libyan troops, this newly-released picture reveals.
Britain’s elite unit has been training soldiers in the North African nation as they try to flush out extremists from the Mediterranean city of Sirte.
And this snap suggests the advice is working, as Libyan troops train their rifles on two jihadis.
Throwing their weapons to the ground, the extremists – clad in black – hold their hands above their head as they meekly surrender.
The terror group has been trying to establish a foothold in Libya since Colonel Muammar Gaddafi was overthrown in 2011.
Troops loyal to the UN-backed government have been desperately battling to fend off ISIS followers in recent months.
And Britain’s elite SAS has been helping to track down jihadis before calling in air strikes.
It recently identified the location of five ISIS snipers in Sirte – allowing a 500lb bomb to be fired at the building.
Libyan field commander Mohamed Durant praised the crack soldiers for the help they were providing.
He said: “We have been facing strong resistance, moving forward house by house. The air strikes are making our lives easier.
“We co-ordinate with the Americans and British. When they are targeting a site we move back, they strike, and we move forward further.
“Together we can complete this mission.”
