A MUM took her own life after a long-standing feud with neighbours left her husband wrongly accused of GBH.
Sheila and Sean Wallace, 56, endured nine years of “hell”, according to their daughter-in-law Charlotte Hayes.
Sheila, 53, who had spasm condition dystonia, and Sean repeatedly complained to police.
They claimed noise and the smell of cannabis came from John Brooks and Brenda Brooks-Morgan’s flat. But John accused Sean of assaulting him in 2014.
Sheila killed herself on June 7 this year. She left notes blaming her pain which increased with the stress of the case.
Last week Sean was cleared of GBH at Maidstone crown court. The judge said he “entirely understood” the verdict.
Charlotte 29, said: “Sheila was tragically not able to hear it.”
