Three fighting for their lives after being stabbed ‘at house party’ in Wolverhampton
Two men found in the street and another in nearby garden
COPS are investigating after three men were found with stab wounds following a house party in a home in Wolverhampton.
The incident happened in the West Midlands town earlier today.
Police were flagged down by a member of the public on Goldthorn Hill, Goldthorn Park just after midnight.
Two men were found in the street with stab wounds and a third man was found in a back garden of a house with stab injuries.
The three men aged 27, 31 and 36 were treated by paramedics for serious injuries and taken to hospital.
One is understood to be in a critical condition, having been more seriously injured than the others.
Neighbours said the trouble started at a party at another detached property 50 yards away on the other side of the road.
Forensic officers and detectives could be seen going in and out of that house, which remained cordoned off by tape, this afternoon.
Angela Gill, aged 49, who lives opposite the property, said: "It's a rented house.
"It's been empty for quite a while but there's been a lot of activity around it the last few weeks.
"There was some sort of party there last night. I heard the music quite loud at about 9pm.
"Then later I heard a scuffle and came outside for a cigarette and there were a lot of police cars.

An investigation was launched and an area of Goldthorn Hill has been cordoned off while forensic experts examine the scene.
Sergeant Carl Russell, from Wolverhampton’s Violent Crime Team, said: "We are in the early stages of our investigation and continue to make enquiries to establish the motive behind the attack.
"We have spoken to several people who have told us that a car was seen to speed away from the scene shortly after the attack and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen this car to come forward with information.
“We would also like to speak to anyone who saw anything in the street at the time to come forward.
"Incidents of this nature are unusual in the area and we would reassure local residents that we are doing everything we can to locate those responsible.
“Officers will be in the area conducting house to house enquires and detectives continue to trawl CCTV for any clues.
“The injured men are in a serious condition and continue to be treated in hospital."
