Terror suspect seized by French authorities at Syrian border

AN ISIS warlord who masterminded terror attacks in Paris and Brussels has DEFECTED to the West in a major victory for intelligence bosses.

Frenchman Abu Soulayman, who planned massacres across Europes, was last night reported to have fled and crossed the border from Syria into Turkey, according to the Daily Star.

The former jihadi, whose father is understood to be an imam at a mosque in France, was seen being led away by French anti-terror cops and it's hoped he'll hand over vital information on the terror organisation's secrets and strategies.

The turncoat terrorist was revealed by an ISIS mole who goes by the name of "Abu Khaled".

It's understood Khaled is a veteran Syrian rebel who remains close to the terror network.

He claims the Soulayman - thought to be ISIS' head of operations - has defected from the city of Jarablus near the Turkish border.

The mole, who allegedly met the former semi-professional wrestler during his time spent in the ISIS held cities of Raqqa and Aleppo in Syria in 2014 and 2015, told the publication: "They must have made arrangements with Turkish authorities. He went with French nationals."

Thought to be in his 30s, French intelligence reportedly know him as "head of overall operations for Europe".

He started out with the terror organisation as a foot soldier but quickly rose through the ranks after masterminding part of the attack on Paris' Bataclan theatre in the horrific attacks on the city last November.

He is said to have impressed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi after presenting him with a blueprint for the gun and suicide bomb attacks that killed 130 people in the French capital.
