Laughing Libyan fighters blitz ISIS with fearsome missiles in battle to retake Sirte
Dramatic pictures show fight against twisted terror cult who have controlled city since June 2015
JUBILANT Libyan soldiers launch powerful rockets as they battle against ISIS thugs in the terror stronghold of Sirte.
The brainwashed death cult has been in control of the city in Libya since June 2015.
However, thanks to further support from the U.S military and the United Nations, brave government-backed Libyan fighters are attempting to take back the territory.
These dramatic pictures show the soldiers in high spirits with one sporting a ‘V for Vendetta’ mask – the disguise popular with western hacking collective Anonymous.
Another image shows a fighter striking a pose as he fires a shell from a Soviet-era T-55 tank.
On Thursday, President Barack Obama insisted the anti-ISIS campaign is making progress in Iraq, Syria and Libya.
He discussed how the depraved terror group has been unable to regain territory it has lost in recent months.
Obama has beefed up the U.S. military fight against ISIS with a new front of airstrikes in Libya, to help the fledgling government there take back Sirte.
The U.S has also is also striking the warped extremists in Iraq and Syria, recently authorising more troops to help Iraqi forces prepare to take back the northern city of Mosul, which has been under IS control since 2014.
