Andrew Bone investigated over racist Saka tweet is suspended from Savills – but he claims his account was hacked

SAVILLS has today suspended a worker after racist abuse targeting England players was sent from his Twitter account.

Vile trolls targeted Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka and Jadon Sancho after the Three Lions were beaten on penalties in last night's agonising final.

A post from Andrew Bone's Twitter account branded the players the N word and claimed the England stars had "ruined it for us" after the loss.

Estate agents Savills confirmed Bone was being investigated over the tweets this morning - before later adding he had since been suspended.

But Bone's family today claimed to The Sun that his account had been hacked - and he had reported the matter to police.

They also claimed Bone is "not racist" and shut down his accounts when he began receiving messages late last night.

Speaking from the family home today, his stepdad said: "It looks like his account was hacked.

"He is not racist. He was in shock last night when he started getting remarks on his Twitter account saying he was racist.

“He has actually contacted the police himself.

“It looks like it has been sent by someone with a grievance.”

Bone, a commercial building manager, now remains suspended by Savills pending a full investigation.

The estate agent said: "Savills confirms that the staff member connected with the racist comments placed on Twitter claims that his account was taken over by a third party and that the matter is being referred to Greater Manchester Police.

"Savills have acted swiftly and confirms that the individual is suspended from duty pending the findings of this investigation, which is being progressed as a priority.

"Savills has a policy of zero tolerance on any form of racial abuse or discrimination."

'SICKENED'

The Three Lions aces were hit with sick racist abuse after England's penalty heartache against Italy.

Moronic trolls left vile messages and sent monkey emojis to the young players.

Twitter said it removed over 1,000 posts within the past 24 hours.

Prince William led condemnation alongside Boris Johnson, the FA and the Met Police and said he was "sickened" by the abuse.

The royal added: "It is totally unacceptable that players have to endure this abhorrent behaviour.

"It must stop now and all those involved should be held accountable.”

While Boris blasted: "This England team deserve to be lauded as heroes, not racially abused on social media.

"Those responsible for this appalling abuse should be ashamed of themselves."

'DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR'

The Met Police has also vowed to launch a probe into the "unacceptable" trolling.

And the FA last night issued a statement over the ";disgusting" abuse England players suffered.

It said: "The FA strongly condemns all forms of discrimination and is appalled by the online racism that has been aimed at some of our England players on social media.

"We could not be clearer that anyone behind such disgusting behaviour is not welcome in following the team.

"We will do all we can to support the players affected while urging the toughest punishments possible for anyone responsible.

"We will continue to do everything we can to stamp discrimination out of the game, but we implore government to act quickly and bring in the appropriate legislation so this abuse has real life consequences.

"Social media companies need to step up and take accountability and action to ban abusers from their platforms, gather evidence that can lead to prosecution and support making their platforms free from this type of abhorrent abuse."
