British Pirates of the Caribbean actor returns to Syria to fight ISIS terrorists
Michael Enright was accused by some other fighters last year of not being up to the job
A BRITISH actor who has swapped the high life to take on ISIS has returned to Syria as a volunteer fighter for the second time.
Michael Enright was previously accused by other foreign fighters of not being up to the job and was last year said to have been kicked out of fighting units.
He said he wanted to prove his worth and has secretly crossed back into northern Syria.
In an interview with Channel 4 last night the 52-year-old said: "None of the soldiers I fought with said that at all.
"The only people who have said anything negative were the people I came with from the academy which was the place we trained.

"They didn’t want me there.
"I had no military background.
"I was an actor and I didn’t realise they really looked down on that.
"And I am old so far as they are concerned.";
He added: “Somebody has to stand up.
"Somebody’s got to.
"I mean as we speak right now, you know, little girls are being raped.
"You know we should stand up to that."
He appeared in Pirates of the Caribbean alongside Johnny Depp.
After trying to go back to Hollywood recently he was detained for six weeks, he said, and was questioned by British police after he was deported home.
