Kamala Harris’ staff feel they are ‘treated like s***’ in toxic work environment, report claims

KAMALA Harris' staffers feel they are "treated like s***" as they branded her office "chaotic and tense", a bombshell report claims.

The allegations come amid reports that some within the office were blindsided by her decision to visit the last Friday.

Around two dozen current and ex-vice presidential aides, officials, and associates of and Harris appeared to blast the VP and her chief of staff Tina Flournoy, reports.

Blaming Harris, one said: “People are thrown under the bus from the very top. There are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment.

“It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated. It’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s***.”

They accused Flournoy of creating an “insular environment” where potential ideas are dismissed and officials delay making decisions.

Symone Sanders, the chief spokesperson for Harris, blasted the anonymous critics as she urged them to come forward with their criticisms.

She said: “We are not making rainbows and bunnies all day. Whoever has something they would like to raise, they should raise it directly.”

Some staffers have already departed including Karly Satkowiak and Gabrielle DeFranceschi.

And, Rajan Kaur, a former aide who worked with the VP on her digital team, left after not relocating to Washington.

Some former aides defended Harris as they branded her “the most perceptive person on the planet".

One said: “She’s been in public life for 30 years. F**k. You don’t just all of a sudden go radio silent.”

She visited El Paso on Friday but was accused of ignoring the "real problem" areas.

Gov. Greg Abbott said: "Vice President Harris is ignoring the real problem areas along our southern border that are not protected by the border wall and are being overrun by the federal government's ill-thought-out open border policies.

"She will fail in her mission if she refuses to speak to residents of the Del Rio sector whose homes and ranches are being overrun by gangs and smugglers."

Abbott claimed Texans have had their homes broken into and "guns pointed at their head", alleging cartels had "profited" off the Biden Administration's open-border policies.

President Biden said on the border crisis despite dozens of GOP members calling for her to be removed from the position.

She said: “It didn’t go the way the White House wanted it to go."

The commentator branded immigration a "hot potato" issue that no one wants to touch.

The vice president also appeared flustered when Colombian reporter Ilia Calderon 

Harris snapped and wagged her finger when the journalist probed her on the border crisis.

And, Harris appeared to laugh when asked the same question by NBC anchor Lester Holt.

Border crossings last month were up 674 percent in May 2021 compared to May 2020 as over 180,000 migrants were recorded entering the US.

The White House has proposed to spend $4billion to address the "root causes of migration" in countries such as Guatemala and Honduras.
