HOLIDAYMAKERS have been stuck in Manchester Airport for more than 24 hours after their flight to Corfu was delayed.
More than 100 passengers expecting to board their flight at 11am on Monday morning were told their flight was going to be put back after checking in.
According to travellers, the airline said there was a technical fault with their plane.
The flight, operated by Lithuanian airline Small Planet, was eventually cancelled at 7pm and travellers were told they would be flying early Tuesday morning.
Passengers were provided with hotel accommodation and they were taken to the airport again at 11am.

Andrew said: “The kids have been really upset. My friend’s wife is upset as it is their only holiday this year and can’t get the time off work.”

She said they are now planning to give up on the holiday and just go home instead.

“We can not spend another day in the airport and I have no faith in the airline that there will ever be a flight.
