SHOCKING footage shows the moment a huge tiger almost kills a man who tried to play with the powerful predator.

Filmed in Saudi Arabia, the incredible clip shows a man goading the big cat into a friendly tussle.

The beast, which reportedly belongs to his friend, clearly doesn’t how to play nicely, and launches at the naïve animal lover.

The tiger, armed with razor sharp teeth and flesh tearing claws, forces the man against the fence of the enclosure as he desperately tries to escape the attack.

A blood curdling scream can be heard as the big cat plunges its teeth into the man’s foot – shredding it apart.

The apex predator then starts to drag the man away further into its lair before the footage fades out – presumably because the animal’s handler stepped in.

A picture of the victim’s bloodied foot then flashes up on the screen showing huge teeth wounds.

The video is yet another example of the dangers of keeping wild animals, especially predators, as pets.

There is a trend among the wealthy elite in Saudi Arabia, and other Arab countries, of having big cats as trophy beasts.

Last month footage emerged of a woman being savaged to death by a tiger at a Chinese wildlife park.

The horrific footage, captured at Badaling Wildlfie World in Beijing, shows the predator dragging one woman away before killing her female relative who stepped in to save her.
