A 60-year-old man has died after being gored to death at a bullfighting festival in a town in western Spain.
The elderly man tried to escape the animal during the controversial event by jumping over a fence - only to fall into the bull's path.
He was rushed to hospital but died from the collapsed lung and head injuries he suffered in the brutal goring.
According to , he was attending the bullfighting event in Valrio, a town of 400, when the incident occurred.

He was participating in the Fiestas de Valrío de Caceres, and his death was reported to be the first in the local event's history.
Juan Carlos Blazquez, the mayor of the region, announced three days of mourning to be held as a tribute.
He said: "From the municipality of Guijo de Galisteo, we offer condolences to the family and friends of M.C.S. who died during the celebration of the last bullfighting festival of the town," reported.
The man was pronounced dead after undergoing surgery in hospital in nearby Caceres.
