Shocking moment woman hurls bottles and boxes in the street during ‘racist’ rant at London store

The apparent racist rant stemmed from staff at the shop refusing to sell her alcohol

POLICE are hunting a woman who was refused alcohol because she was drunk after she allegedly started to hurl racial slurs at Asian shop staff.

Footage of the apparent racially aggravated assault in London has been released in an effort to find the woman.

CCTV cameras caught her shouting abuse at the staff, blocking the door to prevent other customers entering before leaving and demanding to be served spirits.

When she was refused again she threw stock into the road as the staff were tasking a delivery and knocked over large stacks of stock piled up outside Fresh Go in Bethnal Green.

She then left and walked off towards Palmers Road.

This happened at about 12.15pm on Sunday, June 26.

The woman police want to speak to is described as a large built black woman in her mid 20s, with black shoulder length hair.

She is 5ft5ins tall and was wearing a grey t-shirt, black trousers, white trainers and a chequered shawl.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise or witness the woman shown on CCTV.
