A tearful Mairead and Mick Philpott appear at a police press conference after the death of their six children, before being arrested and jailed for their part in the killings

The 40-year-old is said to be angry at having to leave a cushy bail hostel where she had access to therapy and yoga sessions, and has already turned down a studio flat.

She is now temporarily in another hostel, but is set to be moved into a one-bed flat in the South of England in weeks.

A source said: “Mairead has shocked everyone with how fussy and ungrateful she has been.

“She was not in any hurry to leave the hostel and was being very picky over where she went.

“She basically refused a studio flat in a nice area saying it was not good enough for her.

“It is all paid for with housing benefit and she is also on Universal Credit so it has all been laid on for her.

Philpott, ex-husband Mick, 65, and a neighbour were jailed over the 2012 tragedy in Derby.
