She went missing from the facility on Wednesday, and was tragically found dead several hours later.
An autopsy recorded the cause of death as multiple sharp and blunt force trauma injuries.
Experts do not believe the alligator attacked Ms Walker unprovoked, instead hypothesising the 90-year-old fell in, attracting the beast to her.
The alligator has been removed from the pond following the discovery of Ms Walker’s body, but her disappearance from the home remains a mystery.
Brookdale Senior Living Centre is yet to comment on the incident.
