SPEED eater Max Stanford munches his way through 100 fish fingers in just under 15 minutes.

The 33-year-old’s 4,300-calorie belly-buster was to mark tomorrow’s National Fish and Chip Day.

Max, of Brixton, South London, said: “I was out of practice speed eating and there was so much batter.

"You think it’d mainly be fish but there’s quite a bit of bread, so they were pretty dry as well.

"You can hit a wall and slow down so you have to keep pace or you’ll never get done.

Max has previously eaten 146 chicken nuggets in ten minutes.

He added: "It wasn’t as easy as I thought, I had to drink a lot of water.

"By the end, I was definitely full but my girlfriend said I could do it in 15 minutes and I had my last bite at the 15-minute mark.

"I love doing these challenges as part of my fitness regime and bulking, along with doing collabs with people."
