PRINCE Andrew had to drive past travellers who set up a caravan camp outside the Queen's private quarters at Windsor Castle yesterday.
The Duke of York, with airpods in his ears, went by virtually unnoticed in his Range Rover after cops turned up.
The group parked up to 30 caravans and motorhomes outside the famous castle where the Queen is currently residing.
Pictures show police officers, council officials and Windsor Park wardens speaking to the group and urging them to move on.
Their large caravans were parked close to official signs which said that all vehicles are “prohibited” – even cycling is banned.
But photographs taken yesterday showed the large group blocking access on the Long Walk which is popular with runners and ramblers.
A witness said they were “absolutely stunned” after seeing how the group had managed to set up camp just yards from Windsor Castle.
The famous stretch of 2.6mile track connects Windsor Castle with Snow Hill in the busy tourist attraction that is Windsor Great Park.
Royal carriages use the route every year as members of the royal family visit the annual Ascot Races.
The trespassers were eventually moved on.
The camp site is just yards from Frogmore Cottage - the former home of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the current home of Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
Long Walk became a haven for Brits wanting to pay tribute at the castle to Prince Philip following his death in April.
It comes just a day after travellers soaked up the sun after refusing to move from a park outside posh Kew Green in West London.
The group set up camp in the affluent suburb, where homes sell for over £2 million, after arriving on Thursday evening with 12 caravans and other vehicles.
Despite being asked to move from the camp on Friday, the group showed no signs of leaving as they basked in the scorching 24C temperatures.
