Hero security guard who turned away Ansbach bomb nut Mohammad Deleel from packed festival tells his story
Brave Pascal Boehm potentially saved hundreds of lives by stopping ISIS terrorist after noticing his 'frantic' behaviour
A SECURITY guard at the festival in the German town of Ansbach that ISIS bomber Mohammad Deleel tried to blow up has told of the moment he blocked him from entering.
Brave Pascal Boehm, 25, stopped evil Deleel at the gates of the sell-out concert in the Bavarian town on Sunday night because he didn't have a ticket.
His actions guarding 2,500 concert revellers saved potentially hundreds of lives from being lost.
Just 30 minutes later ISIS fanatic Deleel set off his bomb at a nearby bar, injuring 15 and killing only himself.
Describing Deleel's movements after he was refused entry to the packed festival, Boehm said he began acting suspiciously.
"He seemed to hope that I would leave my place.
"He kept phoning someone and had his hand on the ear," he told German newspaper Bild.
"I noticed him because he kept staring at me nervously.
"Every movement seemed frantic, and he looked to see if he was being watched", Boehm said.
The security guard also told of the moment minutes later that terrorist Deleel's bomb was detonated.
He described feeling a "shock wave" and seeing chairs flying through the air.
He said: "I only saw injured people lying in blood on the floor.
"I immediately called the ambulance and fire brigade."
Boehm could even see the attacker's body lying on the ground outside Eugens bar after the horrific blast.
"The backpack wasn't on the man, and his body was not torn.
"He also had no visible external injuries, there was only a little blood", he said.
Boehm's courageous story comes as ISIS released a chilling video in which the Ansbach bomber warns of further Islamist attacks throughout Europe.
The Syrian-born asylum seeker nicknamed Rambo, who entered the country in 2015 along with an estimated 1million other migrants, said prior to launching his attack that bombs larger than his would be set off across Germany.
He said: "This operation is carried out with an explosive device, but next time it will be with (car) bombs.
In an appeal designed to garner more support from homegrown ISIS sympathisers, the bomber added:
"To the German people, your country is killing you by its actions.
"Islamic State did not start this war with you."
"To the German youth: your planes that are shelling us don't distinguish between men, women and even children."
