CHRIS Cuomo was slammed as a "steroid guy" and "thug" by Tucker Carlson after he advised his governor brother on how to respond to sexual harassment claims.

On Thursday, gave a stinging assessment after a bombshell report claimed Chris had been coaching about how best to address the misconduct allegations.

Several women have come forward to accuse the Democrat of sexually harassing them or otherwise making them feel uncomfortable with his words or behavior.

The Washington Post reported that Chris, CNN's prime-time host, and supposedly told his older brother to take a defiant stance against what he described as "cancel culture."

“It was not a mafia hit," Carlson said last night. "It was sexual harassment they were talking about. has extensive knowledge of that, the allegations anyway, according to that tape."

"I would be a lot happier if everyone could just, you know, drop the self-righteousness," the Fox News host went on, before making unsubstantiated claims about steroid use.

"If Chris Cuomo just said, 'Look, yeah. I’m exactly what I look like, I’m a steroid guy, thug and it’s my brother, of course, I’m going to give him advice,'" he told Councilman Joe Borelli, a from Staten Island, New York.

"You know what I mean? Rather than running around doing the holier-than-thou thing all the time. That’s what I find unbearable."

During the segment, Carlson also played videos of the CNN host lifting weights.

Last night, Chris admitted he had been "looped into calls with other friends of [Cuomo's]," advisers, and other members of the governor's staff.

“Being a journalist and a brother to a politician is … [It's] a unique challenge, and I have a unique responsibility to balance those roles,” he said. “It was a mistake.”

Chris said CNN would continue to cover the sexual misconduct allegations against his brother.

He apologized to his colleagues for putting them in a "bad spot."

Chris interviewed Governor Cuomo a total of 11 times on CNN during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The to the Post, which read: "Chris has not been involved in CNN’s extensive coverage of the allegations against Governor Cuomo — on-air or behind the scenes.

“In part because, as he has said on his show, he could never be objective. But also because he often serves as a sounding board for his brother.”

“However, it was inappropriate to engage in conversations that included members of the Governor’s staff, which Chris acknowledges. He will not participate in such conversations going forward.”
