Cops launch murder probe after Michael O’Hanlon was discovered dead at industrial estate
A BODYBUILDER has been found stabbed to death at an industrial estate close to his home sparking a murder probe.
Cops say they are following a "definite line of inquiry" after Michael “Musk” O’Hanlon was discovered dead shortly after midday yesterday in Stevenston, Ayrshire.
Mr O'Hanlon who was crowned champion of the Mr Scotland bodybuilding title, is believed to have been involved in an altercation before the fatal stabbing.
Today police said a 43-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the death.
Mr O'Hanlon ran a chain of fitness shops called Musclebox O’Hanlon with his fiancée Eileen Kirkwood. The couple got engaged on Christmas Day last year.
Devastated Eileen, 54, changed her profile picture today to a photo of the pair in happier times.
She was inundated with warmth and sympathy from her friends in the comments section underneath the public post.
Many simply posted a series of heart emojis and kisses under the post which has had over 100 reactions to it.
Friend Gordon Maxwell said: "A great picture to remember better times, you both looked so happy in this one."

And Heather Gardiner added: "Stay strong Eileen my heart goes out to you xx"
Shocked friends of the fitness buff took to social media to express their devastation at his death while forensics officers were seen towing away a dark grey Nissan Navara from the HK Autotek garage on the Moorpark Industrial Estate.
On Michael's business page 'Musclebox O'Hanlon', Mark Paterson wrote: "RIP Big man, will never be forgotten. An inspiration to me and many. Absolutely numb."
Omar Montana said on Facebook: "Can't believe this only just seen him the other day.. Such a good guy RIP Michael"
Kirsty Millar said: "Can't comprehend this absolutely shocking."
Maryann Earl added: "Such a lovely man, cruel, evil world we live in."

Witnesses told the "utter mayhem" broke out when police cars arrived at the industrial estate.
The local resident, who did not wish to be named, said:
“I heard a woman shout, ‘Oh no! He’s been stabbed!’
“CID were on the scene very quickly and began interviewing people in our street.
“It just isn’t this kind of thing that happens around here. This is a quiet, friendly village.”
A spokesman from the National Amateur Body Builders’ Association said they were “absolutely devastated”.
The 45-year-old was jailed in 2014 for drug dealing after police found 1,287 diazepam tablets and £3,000 in cash at his home.
He told cops he took supplements containing a lot of caffeine, which kept him awake.
He said he started buying diazepam in bulk to help him sleep but admitted he started sharing the pills among his friends.
Police Scotland said in a statement today: "A 43-year-old man has been arrested and detained in police custody in connection with the death of Michael O'Hanlon.
"Mr O'Hanlon was discovered injured on the Moorpark Industrial Estate in Stevenston around 1200hrs on Monday July 25 and died at the scene.
"Relatives are aware and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
