The accident left her low on confidence and self-esteem, she explained.
She said: "I lost all my confidence with myself and I didn't feel beautiful or sexy, I never thought I'd feel that again."
However, the racy photoshoot - arranged for her as a birthday present - changed all that.
"I cried my eyes out. I was amazed, I didn't think I would ever look like that again. I saw it and straight away I saw the first picture and I was just in tears.
"I'll wear little dresses now, whereas before I would put it on and just think no and take it straight off."
Since the horrific rollercoaster crash last year, in which she and a passenger, Leah Washington, both lost a leg, Vicky has dated a couple of people but both relationships have fizzled out.
Back in April she revealed she had received seedy messages from men after recently joining Tinder.
At the time she told the now closed New Day paper: "One man said to me, 'I've always wanted to have sex with a person with one leg'.
"I thought, 'er, I don’t think so'."
Alton Towers blamed "human error" for the devastating crash, which also caused passenger Leah Washington, 19, to lose her leg.
Parent company Merlin is being prosecuted under Health and Safety laws.
