Paedo playing popular family game as a way to socialise with other offenders
CAGED paedo Rolf Harris is challenging his fellow inmates to games of high-stakes Connect 4.
The fallen entertainer, 86, is hosting tournaments with the winners scooping prize pots of toiletries and chocolate.
He was encouraged to mix at Stafford prison — a specialist nick for sex offenders — after staff became concerned he spent too much time alone.
A source said: “He’s socialising more and playing Connect 4 with other cons. He organises competitions and keeps score.
";The winner on the day gets chocolate or toiletries — just whatever prisoners can afford to add to the prize pot.
“It doesn’t sound like much but chocolate and treats are like gold when you are banged up.”
The source added Rolf, jailed for five years in 2014 for sexually assaulting young girls, has piled on the pounds in jail.
He is said to spend all his £18.50 weekly allowance on crisps and chocolate.
The star is due for trial in January on eight further sex assault charges, which he denies.
The Prison Service declined to comment.
