OLYMPICS legend Jessica Ennis-Hill is among a host of stars backing a new campaign to help combat a deadly muscle-wasting disease by appearing in a spectacular stunt video.
The team GB athlete is supporting a crusade which is urging the nation to show their support for those living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) by sharing a show of strength.
Rugby Union international Owen Farrell and ex-England star Will Greenwood posted a film and pic of themselves with the caption: "If you think that’s strong, check out the World’s Strongest Boys”.
Among the staggering displays include a slam dunk over three basketballers and one armed handstand on top of someone's head using the tag #WorldsStrongestBoys.
There are currently around 2,500 boys living with DMD in the UK.
Most of them will not live past their twenties - and there is no cure.
Charity Duchenne UK hopes the new campaign will raise awareness of the condition and help fund research.
Emily Crossley, founder and co-CEO of Duchenne UK, said: "[WCRS] wanted this to be not just a one-off advert but a movement – something that could engage people in the long term not just as an awareness brand, but a fundraising brand.
“We wanted to give something to the Duchenne community that was empowering, so when people do a marathon or a triathlon for us, they can do it for the World’s Strongest Boys.”
