Sacked Chancellor George Osborne suffers second humiliation after he is given ‘sh*t’ office in the House of Commons
The office was previously home to Boris Johnson and the decision is being seen as another slap by Theresa May
GEORGE Osborne has suffered a second humiliation by being handed a “sh*t” office in the House of Commons after his brutal sacking as Chancellor.
Mr Osborne’s new digs face inwards into a Parliamentary courtyard rather than having a window over the Thames or Parliament Square.
The office was previously home to Boris Johnson and the decision to hand it to Mr Osborne is being seen as another slap by Theresa May.
One Commons veteran told the Guido Fawkes website: “It’s a sh*t office.
“Really, really woeful for a former Chancellor.”
The office is a stark contrast to the splendour of the Treasury, which was Mr Osborne’s home for six years.
Mr Johnson has swapped it for the palatial magnificence of the Foreign Office.
