Mattress Mack, a furniture salesman from Texas, bet at least $9.5million on the Bengals winning in Super Bowl LVI.

The company said it was the second-highest bet they have taken on the Super Bowl.
For McIngvale, who is notorious for betting on sports outcomes, it was the highest bet he has ever placed.

Super Bowl LVI was not Mattress Mack's first big loss. In the 2021 World Series, he bet $13million on the Houston Astros taking it all.
The Astros lost to the Atlanta Braves in five games.
On his betting philosophy, McIngvale has said, "So I have a very vested interest in the favorite winning. But let's put it this way - a two-minute sweat is a lot less stressful than a three- or four-hour baseball sweat."
Who is Mattress Mack?
Jim McIngvale, who goes by Mattress Mack, is known for owning the Gallery Furniture retail chain.
The Houston businessman is famous for ending sales pitches with the catchphrase, "saves you money."
Born in Mississippi, McIngvale graduated from high school in Dallas, later attending the University of North Texas, where he was a collegiate football player.
He and his wife reside in Houston with their four children.
What happened in the final minutes of Super Bowl LVI?
Things were looking good for McIngvale until the final few minutes of the game.
With only minutes to go, ended up costing the Bengals.
For most of the game, the refs had been pretty lenient.
“They should have just let it play out how they were doing the whole game,” Bengals wide receiver in a post-game interview.
