A REPULSIVE video showing a group of men allegedly beheading a giraffe while yelling religious slogans has emerged on social media.

The horrific video shows the group of men shooting the giraffe, yelling "Allahu Akbar (God is Great)" as the beautiful animal falls down.

The animal was then skinned and refrigerated.

It is unclear when the video was shot but people on social media have been quick to slam the footage.

One person wrote: "Barbarians" while others voiced their disgust at the men's actions.

Arab News has since reported the men were from Saudi Arabia.
