Soviet-built ‘mototrolley’ is converted into Britain’s smallest caravan complete with a mini kitchen and bed
It can comfortably(ish) fit two people in the bed in the back and includes a gas cooker
THIS tiny campervan has been created to make a “scooterhome” which was sold on eBay for £7,500 to an adventurous couple.
The unusual and eye-catching travel home was made using the shell of an old Soviet-built mototrolley.
These were made in the early seventies and were mostly used by farmers taking their produce to market.
For this new adaptation of the scooter, the original trailer which sat on the back was taken off and replaced by a custom-built two berth caravan.
It has everything you would need for a trip away.
There is a bed crammed in the snug looking caravan, which fits two people, and even a tiny gas cooker in the built-in kitchen area at the back.
The Scooterhome was spotted and bought by businessman Nassim Taleb, from Halifax in West Yorkshire, who then sold it on.
The 27-year-old said: “I have never seen anything like this before, it’s crazy and totally unique but everything about it works beautifully.”
Anita Stratton and Lee Shaw from London are now the lucky owners of the tiny caravan, after they bought it from Nassim on eBay for £7,500.

It is not just the usual size of the campervan but the colour scheme is very pleasing to the eye and is bound to invite glances as campers cruise around the country
