A SOLICITOR and dad-of-two was gunned down outside of a church in South Yorkshire last night.
The man, named locally as Khuram Javed, was found by police in Sheffield after suffering life-threatening injuries from a gunshot.
Another man, aged 31, was rushed to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
South Yorkshire Police were called to Clough Road near Bramall Lane at around 9.40pm on Saturday following reports of shots fired.
Khuram was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have launched a murder probe into the death of the dad-of-two.
A massive police cordon remains in place around St Mary's Gate toward Bramall Lane and a police tent and screen were put up near the murder scene.
Nearby residents said they heard what they believed to be "gunshots" last night.

A family friend, Aftab Ahmed said Khuram has always come across as a quiet lad.
He said: "I mostly saw him out and about with his young family. Just a tragic loss for the family as I don't know the details of how the incident happened.
"Absolutely just a senseless taking of a young life."
Pakistan Muslim Centre's Allama Iqbal Sunday Cricket League also posted a tribute on their Facebook page.
They said: "It is with great sadness to inform you that our beloved brother Khuram Javed has returned to Allah."

South Yorkshire police remain at the scene whilst officers conduct enquiries.
