Who is Matt Gaetz’s wife Ginger Luckey?
FORMER Florida representative and current nominee for attorney general Matt Gaetz has been married to Ginger Luckey since 2021.
Gaetz asked Luckey to marry him in December 2020 and they said their I do's just eight months later on August 21.

On November 13, President-elect Donald Trump nominated Gaetz to be his attorney general and head up the Justice Department.
"Attorney General will look great on you my love," Luckey posted in support of her husband on X the same day.
Who is Ginger Luckey?
Luckey is the sister of billionaire Palmer Luckey, the founder of Oculus VR, which he sold to Meta in 2014 for $2 billion, and Anduril, a defense startup with hundreds of millions in government contracts.
She currently works as a manager at KPMG, where she's been since 2021.

Previously, Luckey worked as an analyst at Apeel, which makes coatings for fruit, vegetables, and other produce to keep them fresh.
She is from Santa Barbara, California, and earned a bachelor's in economics and accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2016.
She has also taken courses at the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business and Harvard Business School Online.
The two met at a fundraiser at former President Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in March 2020, reported.

About 10 months later, they got engaged at the club that December, with Fox News host Jeanine Pirro sharing the news on her Twitter page.
Gaetz shared Pirro's post, saying, "Thank you for sharing the moment with us Judge!"

In March 2021, the congressman tweeted a photo of him and Luckey, captioning the photo, "fiancé life."
Luckey told in an interview that she traveled around with Gaetz frequently.
On Saturday, August 21, 2021, Luckey and Gaetz tied the knot in a small, private ceremony on Catalina Island, California.
Gaetz tweeted about his wedding saying, "I love my wife!"

Is Matt Gaetz under investigation?
In March 2021, reported that Gaetz, who was elected to Congress in 2016, was being investigated by the Justice Department "over whether he had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old and paid for her to travel with him."
Investigators looked at whether Gaetz violated sex trafficking laws.
The probe was opened during the final months of the Trump administration and under the former president's Attorney General William Barr.
The case ended without charges in 2023.
The Republican-led House Ethics Committee was also investigating Gaetz for behavior on the House floor, misusing campaign funds, and the Justice Department allegations.
But with Gaetz's resignation from Congress after his nomination to attorney general, the committee no longer has jurisdiction over him.
