One lucky lotto punter is set to lose £1MILLION if they don’t claim their prize today

It could be the fifth player to lose the fortune in just over a month

A LOTTERY punter is set to lose a £1 million jackpot tomorrow – the fifth player to lose the fortune in just over a month.
The player, from Newham, London, is set to lose the raffle tier prize by failing to claim it within the six-month deadline.

The winning Lotto ticket was bought on 16 January.
In the last month £1m-winning players from East Staffs, Swansea, Preston and Rochdale have lost out in Lotto and EuroMillion draws.
And there are another eleven winning millionaires who still have time to claim their prize – but the clock is ticking.

A National Lottery spokeswoman said: “We’re eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“We're urging everyone who bought a Lotto ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
As before, if no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline then the money will go to National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
