In the video's audio, one of the young festival goers can be heard urging the rock thrower to "wait, wait, wait" as the police van gets closer.

One of them then hurls a rock at the police van, appearing to hit the window of the vehicle.

The group are then left in hysterics, with one clearly being heard to say "he got it in the window".

The music festival, which has a lineup including the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Calvin Harris, has received attention this year with warnings that ecstasy six times more potent than usual is being circulated.

Two 17-year-olds also died on the same night of the festival in separate incidents with police now investigating the cause of death.

The body of a father of three has also been found just 10 miles from the music festival site.

The body of missing festival goer James Richardson was found near a farm in Forteviot, Perthshire on Tuesday morning.

Police are now investigating.
