Boys, 12 and 16, found safe after vanishing from Middlesbrough homes

TWO boys who vanished from their Middlesbrough homes have been found safe.

James Hunter 12, and Georgie Dawson, 16, were both reported missing on Friday when police launched a desperate hunt.

James was last seen at 2pm on Friday at his home address in North Ormesby, Middlesbrough.  

And officers believed James was with Georgie in the Middlesbrough area.

But Cleveland Police have confirmed the boys have been now been located and they thanked the public for sharing their appeals.

The force tweeted: "The two missing boys (12 and 16) have now been located.

James was described as being white, 4’3” tall, slim, and having dark brown hair and brown eyes.  

He was wearing black Adidas tracksuit bottoms, a red T-shirt, and a black Nike puffer jacket.

Georgie was described as being white, 5’8” tall, of slim build and having brown hair and blue eyes.

He was believed to be wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers (other clothes unknown).
