This woman’s addiction to video game sensation Pokemon Go is driving her MAD
Gamer is one of many people who claim to be hooked on hit title
Everyone has skeletons in their closet.
But now they have monsters in their smartphone too - and they are proving just as troubling as a cupboard-based corpse.
One woman has caused a sensation after uploading a video discussing her addiction to the game Pokemon Go, which has become a gigantic hit around the world.
Kristen Tuff Scott took to Youtube to describe how she first became addicted to the "augmented reality" game, which invites players to capture monsters which are lurking around the real world.
"Everyone is playing the Pokemon game," she said.
"They keep coming in my work.
"I thought, because I don't know how it worked, that if I downloaded the game I could catch all the Pokemon in my work and people would quit coming to catch them.
"That's not how it works."
"Now I have a bunch of Pokemons and there's people still coming in to get them."
But after she first started collecting the beasties, her addiction quickly escalated.
"Now I feel like a nerd [when people come in to catch Pokemon] because I'm like: 'turn left, Zubat's over there and Squirtle's in the garden," she added.
"I feel stupid. But I want to catch them. This is not where I saw myself at 27 years old
"I got to get it together.
"I have a problem. I just drove across the parking lot to get a rat-looking son of a b*tch."
Many other people have taken to Twitter to discuss their escalating issues with Pokemon Go.
