Heather Watson blows half her £50k Wimbledon prize money on joint winner’s party with Andy Murray
Mixed doubles winner partied with men's champ at celebrity nightclub Drama in heart of London's West End
WIMBLEDON mixed doubles winner Heather Watson blew half her £50,000 prize money on a party for friends and family with fellow champ Andy Murray.
The pair put £25,000 each behind the bar of a celebrity nightclub in London’s West End.
Andy, 29, had promised to enjoy his second Wimbledon title more than his first — and did so by partying until dawn with wife Kim, 28.
After the Champions Dinner at the Guildhall they hit the dancefloor at Drama. They downed what looked like orange shots with friends at 1am as a crowd chanted “Andy! Andy! Andy!”
One onlooker said: “Andy was in a great mood — he was definitely living up to his promise to truly enjoy his win this time around.”

At a 10.30am press conference yesterday he admitted: “I had a rough night last night. Good celebrations!”
While the Murrays headed home on the party night, Heather, 24, continued with her Finnish mixed doubles partner Henri Kontinen at A-list club Tape. Heather also managed to drop in on Serena Williams’ Cafe Royal bash between the official ball and her own party with Andy.
A source said: “Heather stole the limelight. She then went to Drama with Andy where they downed Ciroc cocktails. They each put £25,000 behind the bar. She partied at Tape until 5.30am. She really let her hair down.”
