A UKRAINE plastic surgeon has been slammed for taking selfies with his unconscious patients while performing surgery.
Edgar Kaminskyi, 31, has been a plastic surgeon for eight years but his most recent practise of taking photos while his team operates on their patients is what has attracted the most attention.
The surgeon often shares the photos to his more than 104k Instagram followers, including before and after images of women with breast implants and the silicon implants themselves.
But it is the photos - and even videos - of him operating that has caused the most uproar.
In one photo, the doctor tags #selfie and writes: our anesthesiologist gives not only a wonderful dream, but also an excellent selfie".
He is also not shy of sharing photographs of himself before surgery.

Surgeons at the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (BAAPS) criticised the photos and behaviour with Mary O’Brien, consultant plastic surgeon and BAAPS council member, telling MailOnline: "Pre- and post-op pictures, when they are used professionally and respectfully, can be very helpful for patients.
"But inappropriate use of photos and social media is exploitative of vulnerable patients.
"And it is my view, that during an operation, a surgeon should be focusing wholly on that operation, and not on marketing for his own personal gain."
But the controversy has not affected his popularity on social media or in his worklife with reports that Dr Kaminskyi has a waiting list of more than a year.
He has even publicised broadcasts of the surgery, but said the privacy of patients would be maintained.
He said: "All my broadcastings in Periscope are organised after the agreement with my patients.
"They sign an appropriate document. I do not take social networks as a mean of communication, only as an advertising engine."
MailOnline also reported that Dr Kaminsky, whose motto is "love is free, medicine is not", has said many of his patients needed a psychologist due to their struggles with self-worth.
But he said he would never get tired of his wife's breasts, Olga Kuznetsova, a former Playboy model.
The father of two used his social media account to address questions about whether he ever got sick of breasts.
"Have I lost interest in women's breasts? It is a frequent question.
"Answering it, let me make a parallel with car repairing. What do you think, will a person who works in a car repair garage loose interest in his car?
"I'm sure he will not.
"Even though he sees car parts every day, he still loves his own car, takes care of it and enjoys the moment he goes by the wheel.
"Women's breasts for me - these are the breasts of my wife.
"With my patients it is it only a human chest and female breasts that I am making aesthetically more attractive, based on my own understanding of beauty and on the patient's requests.'
Kaminsky advertises breast augmentation for about 5000 euros.
