Colonel Tim Collins says combat units are not the place to 'mount social experiments'
THE landmark decision to allow women to fight on the front line will cost comrades’ lives, says a former British Army commander.
Iraq war hero Colonel Tim Collins said David Cameron’s decision to lift a ban on women in close-combat units was an “attempt to play politics or mount social experiments with the armed forces”.
The veteran, 56, described the move as one that “inevitably will cost lives”.
