Watch huge brawl erupt between festival campers hours after they arrive at T in the Park
The melee broke out less than two hours after the event started admitting festival-goers
THIS shocking video shows a huge brawl breaking out at T in the Park – less than two hours after the gates had opened.
The ten second clip features two young men in their late teens to early 20s punching each other while screaming onlookers watch.
One of the thugs can be seen smashing a red plastic sledge over the head of a shirtless man while several other boys hit each other in the face.
Fellow festival-goers watch on in the background while girls are heard screaming during the fight - which takes place surrounded by piles of camping gear.
The footage, believed to be filmed at Strathallen Castle in Perthshire, emerged shortly after lunchtime today.
The video was uploaded with the comment: “Well it looks like the a***holes have ruined T in the Park again.”
The fight broke out just hours before hundreds of acts take to the stage for the four night event.
This year's festival headliners include the Stone Roses, Calvin Harris and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Dozens of outraged T in the Park revellers took to Facebook to slam the thugs for “giving the festival a bad name”.
One user wrote: “F*** stupid bams ruining it for everyone else.”
Another agreed: “Should ban the lot of them, honestly.”
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We have been made aware of the video and are making enquiries.”
Last year’s festival was marred by violence and drugs.
Violent videos surfaced online of young boys fighting, smashing bottles over each other’s heads and rolling round on the floor high.
There’s a widespread concern about the lack of security and the availability of drugs at the music event in Scotland after a man was found dead of a suspected drug overdose.
