Horrifying moment woman films her dying boyfriend seconds after he is gunned down by officer
The woman claims her boyfriend was trying to get his ID out of his pocket when the officer shot him FOUR times
THE horrific moments after a man was fatally shot by US police has been streamed live on Facebook by his girlfriend.
The black man, identified by local media as St Paul local Philando Castile, can be seen drenched in blood as he lies in the passenger seat of the car in a suburban street in Minnesota.
The distressing video, shared on Facebook by Lavish Reynolds, starts just moments after the shooting, with the man reportedly dying just hours later.
The girlfriend can be heard begging with her 32-year-old boyfriend to “stay with her” as he lays next to her, with the pair still held at police gunpoint as they sit in the car.
Speaking to the camera, the devastated woman says the couple had been pulled over on Larpenteur Avenue for a broken tail light.

She says: “We got pulled over for a busted tail light in the back and the police just – he’s, he’s covered.
“He killed my boyfriend. He was trying to get out his ID and his wallet out his pocket and he let the officer know that he was - he had a firearm and he was reaching for his wallet and the officer just shot him in his arm.”
Despite managing to control her emotions for most of the video, the young woman’s voice breaks as she pleads: “Oh my God please don’t tell me he’s dead, please tell me my boyfriend didn’t go like that.
“You shot four bullets into him, sir.
“He was just getting his licence registration, sir.”
Halfway through the video, the officer demands that she keeps her hands visible with the young woman quick to assure him she would not move.
The officer says: “I told him not to reach for it. I told him to get his hand out.”
But the young woman replies, saying her boyfriend was just reaching for his ID that police had asked for.
It is understood the shooting victim, Castile, was a cafeteria supervisor at a local school in St Paul.
Later in the police car, the woman says her daughter just witnessed the shooting.
The little girl can be seen sitting next to her, saying: "It's okay, mummy. I'm right here with you."
The woman then breaks down in tears, asking for people to pray for her boyfriend.

The man, who can be heard in distress in the background of the footage, was rushed to Hennepin County Medical Center but later died.
Minutes after the shooting, the young woman is made to get out of her car and is taken into police custody.
A young child crying can be heard in the background as the young woman asks police if they have her daughter.
Still filming from the back of the police car, she begs someone to call her.
She says: “The police just shot him for no apparent reason, no reason at all.”
Protests against the fatal shooting of Philando Castile have since been sparked in America.
The man's uncle, Clarence Castile, told NBC that Philando had a concealed weapons permit to carry a firearm.
He said: "My nephew, he wasn't trying to pull a weapon on those police. He was reaching for ID."
He said his nephew was just one of the many black victims of police officers.
St. Anthony police Sgt. Jon Mangseth, who is interim police chief, told reporters at the scene that the primary officer who initiated the traffic stop and the backup officer who responded were St. Anthony police officers.
According to the Star Tribune, he said the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has been called in to investigate.
Mangseth said: “This is an ongoing investigation. As this unfolds, we will release the information as we learn it and we will address concerns as we are made aware of them. I don’t have a lot of details right now.”
A Facebook page demanding justice for the man has since started.
It comes after footage was released of another fatal shooting of a black man in the US, sparking outraged protests in the streets.
Alton Sterling, a 37-year-old street seller, was fatally shot by two police officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Tuesday morning.
The video shows one of the cops holding the 37-year-old to the ground while the other helps to pin him down.
One of the police officers yells: “He's got a gun! Gun! You f****** move and I swear to God.”
Several shots are heard before the video cuts off.
The Department of Justice has opened a civil rights investigation into the shooting of Alton Sterling.
