A THUG kicked his pregnant sister-in-law and threatened to kill her and "the one inside your stomach" after a family fall-out.
Abdul Kobir, 32, "went off on one" and threw a hammer at his brother and sister-in-law after becoming angry that their two-year-old child was crying.
He punched his brother in the back of the head before attacking his pregnant sister-in-law on June 3 last year.
He shouted at her: "I'm going to kill you and I'm going to kill the one inside your stomach."
She was 17 weeks pregnant at the time and Kobir was aware she was carrying a baby.
The woman was taken to hospital as she was bleeding from the kicks, but the unborn child was not hurt by the attack.
Prosecuting at Leeds Crown Court, Martin Robertshaw told the court Kobir's brother had allowed his sibling to live with his family at their home in Leeds.
Kobir was jailed for two years for the attack.
