Crystal Dozier went missing in May 2007.
The mother-of-seven was reported missing to Police Department by her family.
More than two years later, the 38-year-old's body was dug up at Sowell's home, by a fence in his back yard.
Tishana Culver
Tishana Culver lived just a few doors down from Sowell on Imperial Avenue.
The 31-year-old, who had several drug convictions, was last seen by her family in June 2008 - but was never reported missing.
The mom-of-four was identified as one of Sowell's victims in November 2009.
Leshanda Long
Leshanda Long was the youngest of Sowell's victims at just 25.
The mother-of-three disappeared in August 2008.
Only her skull was found in Sowell's house by investigators, in a bucket.
Tonia Carmichael
The first victim identified was 53-year-old Tonia Carmichael.
She had been missing for more than a year when police discovered her body buried in Sowell's back yard in 2009.
Carmichael appeared to have been strangled and was identified through the use of DNA evidence.
Michelle Mason
Michelle Mason's family reported her missing in October 2008 after not hearing from her for a few days.
The 45-year-old lived near Sowell's neighborhood and had managed to kick her drug habits.
She was identified at one as Sowell's victims.
Kim Yvette Smith
Kim Yvette Smith was the ninth of Sowell's victims to be identified.
The 44-year-old was last seen in January 2009, but wasn't reported missing until November that year.
She was the only one of Sowell's victims to not have children.

Nancy Cobbs disappeared in Cleveland in April 2009.
The 43-year-old, who was living with her daughter about three blocks from Sowell's house, was reported missing to police in June 2009.
The mom of four had a history of drug abuse.
Amelda Hunter
Amelda Hunter - known as Amy to friends - didn't live in Sowell's area but frequently visited the neighborhood.
The 47-year-old vanished in April 2009, but was not reported missing until November, when police began removing bodies from Sowell's house.
A previous injury had left the mother-of-three unable to use one of her arms.
Janice Webb
Janice Webb was last seen on June 3, 2009.
Police searched unsuccessfully for the 48-year-old after she was reported missing in August that year.
The body of the mother-of-one was found at Sowell's home five months after she vanished.
Telacia Fortson
Telacia Fortson was the second of Sowell's victims to be identified.
Although the 31-year-old had been missing since June 2009, her mom didn't report it to police until news of bodies at Sowell's house first emerged.
Fortson had three children, but lost custody of them because of drug use.
