Pregnant woman’s remains scattered across city after being ‘murdered on the orders of boyfriend’s OTHER girlfriend’
THE butchered body of a pregnant woman has been found scattered across a Mexican city in a suspected love triangle slaughter, say cops.
Detectives in Aguascalientes now reportedly believe Estefania Silvestre Hernandez's lover of killing her on the orders of another girlfriend.
The mutilated remains of Hernandez - who was 10 to 12 weeks pregnant - were found dumped in two different locations on January 24.
Parts of her body was found stuffed inside a plastic barrel next to the Rio San Pedro River while the rest was hidden at a water treatment plant.
A later autopsy revealed the victim either died late in the evening of January 21 or early the next morning.
Prosecutor Jesus Figueroa Ortega said: “What we are dealing with is a femicide.
"We have categorically determined the cause of death was from massive blood loss during dismemberment of the body.”
There are conflicting reports on the victim’s age but she was reported to be between 25 and 27 years of age.
The authorities suspect Hernandez’s boyfriend, who was also the father of her baby, identified as Cristian, 23, as the killer.
He was detained along with an 18-year-old man who is suspected of taking part in the vicious murder.
According to the newspaper Infobae, both confessed they killed and dismembered the body under the instructions of a woman identified only as Itzel, 20.

According to the Attorney General’s Office, she planned the killing after she learned of Cristian’s relationship with the victim and her pregnancy.
However, Hernandez was not aware of the relationship between Itzel and Cristian, according to the reports
All three suspects are now being held in custody while the investigation into the grisly killing continues.
