Harry Dunn’s alleged killer Anne Sacoolas offers hope to his family she will answer to justice
THE American suspect in the death of Brit motorcyclist Harry Dunn has offered hope to his family she will answer to justice.
Spy’s wife Anne Sacoolas signalled she was willing to help them over the 2019 crash in Northants which killed Harry, 19.
In a statement via lawyers, she said: “We have been and remain willing to discuss a resolution with the UK authorities.
“Anne would like nothing more than to find a path forward and to provide the family some measure of peace.”
It came after the US confirmed it would not extradite Ms Sacoolas, 43.
She left the UK for the US after Harry’s death.
Harry’s mum Charlotte Charles welcomed her comments, saying: "This has never been about vengeance or retribution for us but justice for our boy and accountability.
"When the prosecution is all over, Tim and I hope to meet with Mrs Sacoolas so that both families can begin to rebuild their shattered lives.
"We know she and her children are victims too.
"We have so many questions we need to have answered and we need the inquest and public inquiry to have answers to them."
