THIS was the bizarre moment a drinker on a motability scooter caused bloodshed and mayhem in a packed city pub.
CCTV footage from Glasgow’s Quo Vadis bar shows the pensioner sending fellow drinkers, tables and chairs flying in 60 seconds of madness.
One customer was left with a serious cut to his head after he was knocked over and then squashed by the 12mph vehicle.
Amazingly the man on the scooter is seen quickly zipping out the door without even checking if his victim is alright.
Footage shows the pensioner, who had driven into the bar 30 minutes earlier and bought himself a half pint, trying to reverse his scooter.
At first it looks like everything is fine but then his scooter lurches back into a table where one man is sitting with his drink.
Another drinker nearby is then sent tumbling to the ground cracking his head against a table.
A luckier punter dives to safety customer just in the nick of time.
Staff are then seen pulling the scooter away and helping the injured customer, who is lying bleeding on the ground with the wheelchair right next to his head.
However, as staff tend to the customer, the driver nips out the door, reveals the .
An ambulance was called for the customer who was treated at the scene by paramedics.
A witness said: “The guy was trying to get out the pub but lost control of the scooter and reversed straight into the table.
“The footage has been doing the rounds and it’s quite shocking. Someone had their head split open but it could’ve been worse.

“The scooters can only do 12mph but that’s quite fast in a confined space like a pub. You can see from the footage that the driver almost drives over the customer on the ground.
“He was only protected by the table which has been knocked over and acts as a barrier between the scooter and the customer.”
A spokeswoman for Quo Vadis owners Greene King said: “We’re aware of the incident.
"The team were quick to respond and support the guest who suffered a minor head injury.
“Thankfully, the injured guest is well and has joined us at the Quo Vadis since the incident.”
