Paedo uses Facebook to meet 15-year-old girl before sexually abusing her

A PAEDOPHILE used Facebook to meet a girl of 15 before plying her with alcohol and sexually abusing her, a court heard.

Joseph Fretti, 26, was jailed for 33 months after admitting sexually touching the terrified teen.

Police said he knew his victim was 15 when they met in a park in Derby.

Det Con Alex Edwards said: “I would like to remind young people not to accept people on Facebook as friends who they do not know.

“The victim is still receiving help and support. The effects of what he did are still with her.”

Fretti is already serving a prison sentence for a previous offence.

He was given a restraining order banning him from contacting his victim for five years and placed on the sex offenders register at Derby crown court.
