Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe ‘furious’ at ban from cuppa catch-ups with murderer pal
Butcher of 13 women is angry with Broadmoor bosses who have stopped him mixing with another notorious attacker who killed a man he 'suspected of being IRA'
YORKSHIRE Ripper Peter Sutcliffe has been banned from seeing a murderer pal by Broadmoor bosses.
Serial killer Sutcliffe, 70, is “furious” he was stopped from mixing with David Coates.
Coates stabbed to death a friend he wrongly believed was in the IRA.
Sutcliffe and Coates, 42, had struck up a close friendship in the hospital, with them regularly chatting for hours.
But Broadmoor has banned the visits as they try to move Sutcliffe back to jail. He now faces a tribunal which could see him switched.
Sutcliffe told a friend: “I am furious about this — they are being biased against me, just like with the tribunal.
“I used to have lovely chats with Dave but they haven’t even told me why he can’t come to visit me any more. It’s so unfair.”
