Tiger King’s Joe Exotic says he’s ‘too innocent and too GAY to deserve Trump pardon’ as Carole Baskin celebrates
TIGER King star Joe Exotic commented that he was “too innocent and too GAY” to get a pardon from President Donald Trump, while his rival Carole Baskin rejoiced.
Exotic criticized on Wednesday afternoon after the 45th president left the White House for the last time without pardoning him for violating federal wildlife laws and killing five tigers, selling cubs and falsifying records.
“I only mattered to Don Jr. when he needed to make a comment about me to boost his social media post,” he continued, referring to Donald Trump Jr previously saying he had discussed a potential pardon with his father.
The former zoo operator concluded: “Boy were we all stupid to believe he actually stood for Equal Justice? His corrupt friends all come first.”
Trump issued during his final hours as president, including for rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black and his former adviser Steve Bannon rapper Lil Wayne, but did nothing for Exotic.
"I think only Joe's team and the media were ever even thinking about a pardon for Joe," Baskin told .
"There is no benefit, other than a feeble attempt to deflect attention, for anyone to pardon someone who walked up to five tigers and shot them in the head in order to clear cage space for the circus, who was going to pay him to board their tigers during the offseason," she said.
"We're waiting for the phone call from Washington, DC," private investigator Eric Love, who is on Exotic's defense team, said in a Twitter video.
"It's coming, y'all. Hold tight.”
After it became clear that Trump was not pardoning Exotic, Love deleted the video.
