The restaurant has been open for seven years but has gone viral after a Twitter user Kim Belair posted a few of Fei’s descriptions from the menu.

The orange beef on the menu us “not THAT good” compared to the restaurant’s General Tao Chicken, he says.

He also admits he’s “not a huge fan” of sweet and spicy pork strips because it’s different to the version he ate at university in China.

Fei tells customers he “did NOT have a chance to try” the satay beef when he wrote the description though the cumin beef is “very tasty”.

Of one dish, he writes: "I don't know why but peanut sauce chicken is liked by a lot of customers."

Since Belair posted the tweet on Sunday, it has been retweeted more than 10,600 times and picked up 72,000 likes.

Fei admits restaurant has “got a lot more” orders since all the attention and said the descriptions were meant to be helpful.

“It’s very, very good for our business,” Fei told .

“The whole idea is just to let people know what they’re ordering. A lot of people found it very funny [and] very helpful. I was so encouraged by them.

“I didn’t think I needed to write comments for each item, but I was encouraged by them, their comments and their feedback, so I finished all of them.”

Fei said the restaurant wants to be “very honest, very true to ourselves and our customers”.

“We don’t want them to come with high expectations and then feel disappointed,” he said.

“We are not always the best food restaurant, but we try to do our best every day and to satisfy our customers and not oversell anything.”

In a brutally honest he said "we are simply not the best".

"That's a fact. We just try to be a little bit better every day. And that's how I see it."
