A GRIME artist whose music was played on Coronation Street and has previously performed on Radio 1 has admitted sexually abusing a young girl.

The defendant had earlier denied 10 charges related to the abuse of a girl under 13, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
But he yesterday appeared at Sheffield Crown Court to admit six charges.
Cunliffe, of Doncaster, South Yorks., had been due to stand trial in May.
And he will now be sentenced on February 26.
The musician pleaded guilty to three counts of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13, assaulting a girl under 13, taking an indecent photograph of a child and one count of distributing an indecent photograph of a child.
Cunliffe's music has been played on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra.
And he boasted about one of his tracks being played during an episode of Coronation Street.
He also claims to have had involvement in campaigns for Adidas, Oasis Drinks, Lipton Ice Tea, Red Bull and Derby County FC.
