‘X-rated’ trailer for film called Sausage Party accidentally shown at Finding Dory screening

A CINEMA was forced to apologise after accidentally showing an X-rated trailer for a film called Sausage Party at a screening of Finding Dory.
The saucy clip was inadvertently shown after a “hardworking” manager “clicked on the wrong movie”.
Families who had turned up to see the sequel to kids’ film Finding Nemo were in for a shock when the adult animated comedy popped up instead.
The cinema in California said sorry after the trailer for Sausage Party was screened, complete with its X-rated content.
The Brenden Theatre Corporation, who own the cinema in question, said the mistake had come about after “several large last minute groups” turned up to the see the new Pixar film.
They said that “in the rush” the trailer for Sausage Party was shown.

The film – which is written by Knocked Up and Superbad star Seth Rogen – is rated R in the USA which means under 17s require accompanying parent or adult guardian with them.
Cinema spokesman Walter Eichinger told : “Playing that trailer was a one-time honest mistake by a theatre manager moving screens around in effort to accommodate several large last minute groups wanting to see Dory.
“In the rush, one hardworking manager clicked the wrong movie.
“It was caught soon but not until that trailer was played.
"We regret it, apologise for it and we are not happy that it happened.
“We fully realise that this trailer is not appropriate for Dory and we would never schedule something like that.”
But comedian Seth Rogan saw the funny side, tweeting: “This made my day: "Concord Movie Theatre Apologizes for Showing “Sausage Party” Trailer for “Finding Dory” Crowd.”
The movie follows a sausage who tries to discover his existence and goes on a journey with his friends to escape their fate.
It hits cinemas later this year and stars Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Salma Hayek, Edward Norton and Rogen himself.
He described Sausage Party as being "a movie about sausages in a supermarket that need to get back to their aisle before the fourth of July".
PG-rated Finding Dory - the sequel to Pixar's 2003 smash hit, Finding Nemo – is the tale of a forgetful fish who goes on a journey to find her parents.
In 2012 children hoping to see animated comedy Madagascar 3 were left in shock whenhorror film Paranormal Activity 4 was shown by mistake.
Kids were shown the 15-rated supernatural thriller instead of the PG cartoon.
