REBEKAH Vardy has revealed she developed "resting bitch face" - but is determined not to let the trolls win after the Wagatha Christie scandal.
The wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has been locked in a court battle with Coleen Rooney over claims she leaked stories to the press about her fellow WAG.
"I’ve developed a really strong resting bitch face over the years. Now I’m really trying to lose it, but it’s not easy when you’ve taught yourself to do something so well. It’s a defensive thing – not showing any vulnerability, so no one can hurt me."
Resting bitch face is a phrase referring to people who feel they have a permanent melancholy expression.
The 38-year-old's comments come as she sues Coleen, 34, wife of ex-England and Manchester United legend Wayne, for libel after it was claimed Becky had leaked private information about Coleen to the Press.
Coleen’s post on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook - published on October 9, 2019 - sent social media into a frenzy.
The row kicked off when Coleen told her millions of social media followers she had turned detective after suspecting stories were being leaked.
Coleen described on social media how she had only allowed Becky's Instagram account to follow certain posts - with the information then showing up in the press.
And after describing her detective efforts, she summed up with the message "It's........ Rebekah Vardy's account."
Becky categorically denies leaking three stories planted by Coleen and also dismisses claims she is The Sun’s Secret Wag.
But Becky said she had no intention of quitting social media, despite the chaos that unfolded online last year.
She said: “I’ll never do that. I went through so much crap in my life being told I couldn’t do this or that.
"Now I would never allow someone I don’t know to control what I want to do.”
And she insisted: "As long as my kids are happy, none of it matters.”
They have until February 8 to reach a truce or will have to face off at the High Court.
A spokesman for Coleen said she remains “confident” of successfully defending the libel case.
Charlotte Harris, of Becky’s legal firm Kingsley Napley, said: “The simple fact is that Rebekah Vardy did not leak Coleen Rooney’s private Instagram posts to the Sun and nothing can change that.”
