Trump orders new Antifa crackdown & wants group designated as foreign terrorist organization to stop members entering US
DONALD Trump has ordered a fresh crackdown on Antifa, telling Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to designate the group as a foreign terrorist organization to stop members entering the US.
The decision was announced in a statement from Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Tuesday evening.
She went on to confirm that "signed a memorandum" to "restrict the entry of aliens associated with terrorist organizations and aliens intent on criminal activity."
"President Trump will not allow Antifa, or any terrorist organization, to destroy our great country," the statement concluded.
"Tonight while I was in , Antifa scumbags came to our place in and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel," Hawley tweeted.
He alleged: "They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door. Let me be clear.
On Tuesday morning, Hawley continued to fume about the incident – and slammed the "Antifa group who now describe themselves as sweet angels."
"BS. You screamed through bullhorns, shouted down my wife when she asked you to leave, vandalized property, pounded on our door, and terrorized neighbors," he alleged in a tweet.
He added in a separate tweet: "And didn’t have the guts to do it in daylight, but only under cover of darkness so you could hide. You’re scum. And we won’t be intimidated."
